Big Tree Global, LLC provides sales, marketing and consulting services to suppliers and manufacturers in the United States and around the world. We are a recently established company specializing in service solutions in the retail industry. We are based in Bentonville, Arkansas, (the home of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.) and have recently added a satellite location in Chicago, IL.

I started my career in the Sam’s Club Home Office in 2002. I worked in both Replenishment and Merchandising divisions during my three years with the company. The exposure to both sides of the business allowed me to train and develop in a way that has been extremely beneficial.
Some of my duties while in the replenishment area included: Sales and inventory reporting, category inventory control, daily communication with suppliers and clubs, analyzing sales and inventory data, placing orders, flow of goods, assisted in training/development of new associates and worked to insure category goals were met.
While in the Merchandising area, some of my duties included: Supporting buyer and assistant buyer, handled multiple tasks from buyers, created and maintained items. I also managed markdowns, vendor agreements and co-ops.
After leaving Sam’s Club in 2005, I joined the supplier community as a Sales and Replenishment Analyst working with various companies selling products to Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club. Some of my responsibilities were as follows:
Performed Retail Link analysis on sales and inventory positions, wrote SSO’s and recommended inventory pushes as needed, was responsible for creating and analyzing sales and inventory report data for the buyers and sales teams, helped prepare information and provided reports needed for presentations and meetings, served as the local representative /contact for Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart and even worked closely with Sam’s replenishment as a co-managed supplier. I was responsible for forecasting, planning inventory and maintaining in-stock levels. I assisted the sales team as needed and participated in business meetings and reviews with buyers.
Beginning in 2008, I started working independently as an Account Manager and Retail Link Analyst serving out-of-state suppliers on a contract basis. All of my experience working independently led me to form Big Tree Global, LLC. My responsibilities in these rolls have included:
§ Serve as the company’s local representative for Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club accounts.
§ Monitor sales and analyze performance to identify issues and opportunities.
§ Generate daily/weekly/monthly Retail Link reports for the buyers and for internal use.
§ Provide data and analytical insight from Retail Link for presentations and business reviews.
§ Forecast sales and inventory position
§ Initiating contact with current and potential retailers to introduce the company/ products and to explore any open opportunities within various departments.
§ Manage sales meeting preparation and presentations.
§ Work closely with buyer to provide assistance with any product development needed.
§ Act as the liaison between the retailer and the factory.
§ Provide quotes and samples to buyers on all requested items.
Over the last eight years I have prided myself on growing and gaining many contacts in the consumer products industry. I have gained contacts within almost all major retailers, college bookstores, C-stores/pharmacies and distribution companies.
